Join Millican Society
The Charles Millican Legacy Society honors individuals who make a planned gift commitment to benefit UCF and have informed the UCF Foundation, Inc. of their generous intent.
The society is named in honor of the university's first president, Dr. Charles N. Millican, widely considered to be "the father of UCF." With a budget of $75,000, an office above a downtown drugstore, and marching orders to make it happen, Dr. Millican worked magicturning 1,227 acres of scrubland into a university to train future aerospace engineers and computer programmers. Dr. Millican's work provided the foundation for today's achievements, and your gifts will continue his legacy.
By including the UCF in your estate plan and will, you have thought of the future and provided for the university and its students. Membership is offered to all individuals and couples who let us know, via written documentation, that they have included UCF in their estate plans or as a beneficiary of another type of planned giftregardless of the amount.
Members of the Millican Society receive invitations to special events and updates on university giving news. The university honors all requests for anonymity.
